Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about home solar energy.
What is the Sunhome brand? What is its origin?
Sunhome is a premium, smart, fully integrated residential solar brand from China, officially distributed and installed in Vietnam by CCELL Energy.
Is it a fully imported product?
Sunhome systems are imported as complete sets from the manufacturer. All equipment meets international quality and safety standards, and is designed for stable operation suited to Vietnam's climate and grid conditions.
What components does the system consist of?
Sunhome is an "All-in-one" home solar ecosystem, with all devices in the system integrated and operated in sync. The system includes: solar panels (PV), inverter, battery storage, EV charger, installation accessories, and a smart Home Energy Management System (HEMS) via a mobile app.
How long does the installation process take?
Sunhome follows a 5-step process: Book a consultation → Preliminary assessment → Site survey & design → Installation → After-sales support. Completion typically takes 7–10 days, depending on system size and site conditions.
How long is the warranty?
Solar panels 30 years, Inverter 10 years, Battery storage 10 years.
How much will installing Sunhome save on electricity bills?
Depending on each household's electricity usage, a Sunhome system can help save up to around 80% of electricity costs by combining solar power, battery storage, and a smart energy management platform (HEMS).
How is Sunhome different from other brands?
Sunhome stands out with a "Global technology — Local deployment" model: • All-in-One ecosystem: Devices are integrated and operated in sync. • Smart energy management: Optimises performance and electricity consumption through HEMS. • Deployed in Vietnam: Survey, design, installation and after-sales by CCELL Energy's technical team, suited to Vietnam's climate and grid.
Which system on the market does this resemble?
Sunhome is in the same premium residential solar segment as brands such as Tesla Powerwall, Huawei FusionSolar and Sigenergy. The difference is a fully integrated All-in-One ecosystem, plus deployment, installation and official warranty services from CCELL Energy in Vietnam.
How much does one system cost?
Prices start from 67,000,000 VND for a 7 kWp system without storage. Actual cost depends on roof area, electricity consumption, system configuration and installation conditions. The Sunhome team will survey and advise on a suitable solution before providing a detailed quote.
What is the most optimal and cost-effective installation method?
The largest system is not always the most optimal. After a site survey, Sunhome will recommend a configuration suited to your electricity needs, roof conditions and budget, to maximise investment returns and long-term electricity savings.
Is there a pre-installation survey available?
Yes. Sunhome offers free survey and consultation before installation. The technical team will assess your roof condition, electricity usage needs and recommend a suitable solution.
What is the lifespan of the system?
Sunhome systems are designed for durable operation. Solar panels have a lifespan of up to 30 years, while other components have usage times and warranties according to the manufacturer's policy.
Is this price more expensive than elsewhere?
Sunhome is in the premium residential solar segment. The investment reflects a fully integrated All-in-One ecosystem, smart technology and official installation and warranty services, delivering stable performance and long-term value.
Where can I contact someone if I want to have it installed?
Customers can leave their details at a booth or scan the QR code to connect via Zalo Official Account (OA). The Sunhome team will contact you for consultation and arrange a site survey within 1–2 working days.
They install them a lot abroad, but nobody in our area has installed them yet. Will it still be suitable?
Sunhome has been deployed in many international markets. In Vietnam, CCELL Energy has completed a pilot project at a villa on Diamond Island with 11.8 kWp solar and 15 kWh battery storage.
Will the system still work if there's a power outage?
Yes, if the system is equipped with battery storage. When the grid goes down, the battery will automatically supply power to priority devices. Without battery storage, the system cannot supply electricity to the home during an outage.
Will the installation affect the roof structure?
No. The system is designed to suit each roof type and is installed to technical standards, ensuring safety, durability and no impact on the roof structure.
Is it wasteful to install if I don't use much electricity during the day?
Not necessarily. The Sunhome team will survey your electricity usage and advise a suitable configuration. If your household uses more electricity in the evening, battery storage can be added to make the most of the solar power generated.
Is maintenance expensive, and how often is it done?
Solar systems have low maintenance costs. Inspection and cleaning every 6–12 months is recommended to maintain performance. The Sunhome team can support checks and maintenance according to the service policy.
Does the system work during the rainy season or low sunshine period?
Yes. The system still generates electricity on cloudy or low-sunshine days, though output will be lower than on bright sunny days. With battery storage, stored power can be used to increase energy self-sufficiency.
